Who We Are
GINA
Always interested in travel and culture, Gina gets a lot of her globally inspired design ideas from her travels throughout the world including places such as Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and much of Europe, where she explored color, as well as unique textures and designs. Her love for interior design was instilled by her maternal grandmother, who had exquisite taste and expertise in furnishings, art work and fabrics.
Gina believes your home should be a place of comfort, with beautiful, meaningful and motivational pieces around you. She likes to incorporate your personal and special belongings, mixed with new items, for an eclectic feel and one that will last the test of time.
Prior to becoming a mom, Gina worked in the marketing and pharmaceutical industries.
Before starting her own business, Gina completely renovated three homes: a large Colonial, a Beach property and a Mid Century Modern. She was also a consultant in a boutique tile shop assisting in the selection of tile to both home owners and builders.
Gina holds a B.A. in Sociology and minors in Art History and Economics from Rutgers University, as well as course study in color from the NY School of Interior Design.
KRISTIN
Always interested in Interior Design, Kristin and her husband purchased a beautiful, but dated, Georgian Colonial with great “bones”. This was years before buying a “fixer-upper” became popular. She loved the challenge of bringing out the charm of the house on a very limited budget, and then selling for a large profit.
Inspired, they bought a more ambitious, dated 80's Colonial. This time she undertook a major remodel. Kristin learned the business of choosing the right tiles, flooring, paint colors, woodwork, appliances, furniture and accessories and helping to manage the trades. After this experience, she began consulting on interior design projects. Selling that house for a profit, Kristin is currently refreshing a dated country house.
Kristin believes a home's furnishings should look like they have been collected over time and filled with items that have meaning. As a former data analyst, she is detail oriented, and a believer in process oriented design. After a successful career at AT&T, Kristin left to spend more time with her growing family.
Kristin has a B.S. from University of Connecticut and a MBA from Seton Hall University. She has studied design at A&S Interiors and the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey.
